Terms of Use

By using Letteringo you agree to these Terms of Use. These terms describe the agreement between you and the operator of Letteringo.

1. Service Description

Letteringo is a mobile app where users write and send anonymous letters that arrive after a delay, providing a nostalgic letter-writing and reading experience. The service is provided "as is" and "as available."

2. Account

  • You confirm that you are at least 13 years old.
  • The confidentiality of your account credentials is your responsibility.
  • Impersonating another person, creating fake accounts, or accessing another user's account without permission is prohibited.
  • You may delete your account at any time.

3. Prohibited Conduct

The following conduct is prohibited on Letteringo and may result in account suspension or termination:

  • Harassment, threats, hate speech
  • Sexual content; content targeting minors
  • Content promoting violence, self-harm, or suicide
  • Illegal content (drug sales, fraud, copyright infringement, etc.)
  • Spam, marketing, automated (bot) submissions
  • Sharing other users' personal information without consent (doxxing)
  • Reverse engineering, abusing, or overloading the service

You can report suspicious content from within the app. Reports are reviewed; content may be removed and accounts suspended as needed.

4. Content Ownership and License

The letters, photos, and audio you create are yours. However, by using Letteringo you grant us permission to store, transmit, back up, and — when necessary — moderate this content for the purpose of operating the service. This license applies only to running Letteringo and is not used for marketing.

5. Subscriptions and Purchases

  • Letteringo offers some features through a subscription. The subscription term and price are shown at the time of purchase.
  • Payments are processed through the Apple App Store; refunds are subject to Apple's refund policy.
  • You may cancel your subscription at any time from the Apple ID settings on your device.
  • Automatic renewal takes effect at the end of each period; charges continue until you cancel.

6. Changes to the Service

Letteringo may change, add, or remove features over time. Material changes are communicated to users.

7. Disclaimer of Liability

Letteringo is provided "as is." To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for direct or indirect damages, data loss, or loss of expected benefits arising from your use of the service. This limitation exists to preserve the balance of the agreement between the parties.

8. Account Termination

Accounts that violate these terms may be suspended or closed without prior notice. You may also delete your account yourself from within the app.

9. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye. The competent courts and enforcement offices for any disputes are those located at the operator's place of business.

10. Changes to These Terms

These terms may be updated from time to time. Material changes are announced in-app or by email. The effective date is always shown at the top of this page.
